Small, independent, on purpose.
Onstage started in 2026 as a one-day meetup that grew too big for the room. We wanted a conference where the people on stage had shipped something recently, where the hallway mattered as much as the talks, and where the ticket price didn’t need a manager’s signature.
We’re a team of four in Lisbon, plus around 60 volunteers on the day. Onstage is self-funded. Sponsors cover about a third of the cost and never buy stage time.

Practical over impressive
Every talk has to leave you with something you can use on Monday.

Accessible by default
Captions, step-free access, a quiet room and fair prices are the baseline, not extras.

Independent
No pay-to-play talks. Sponsors are listed, thanked and kept off the stage.
